Pope Francis on God the Father – First Angelus address

“Non sentiamo parole di disprezzo, condanna ma soltanto parole di amore, di misericordia che invitano a conversione. Questo e’ il volto di Dio, quello di un Padre Misericordioso che ha sempre pazienza” (3/17/13, Angelus address).

Translation:

“We do not hear words of disrespect, condemnation but only words of love, of mercy which invite to conversion. This is the face of God, that of a Merciful Father who always has patience.”

What is the meaning of illumination of conscience? – Response to a question

Together with purification and deification, illumination is “the reception of an understanding of the Godhead” (Dionysus the Aeropagite, CH VII.3.209C).

The illumination of conscience is a grace of mercy given by God the Father and a process whereby one sees everything they did or did not do, said or did not say, throughout their life in the light of the truth who is Christ; and all those sins which were not absolved (not recalled by God anymore) through the sacrament of reconciliation.  Continue reading

Description of the Virgin Mary, the Mother of God – 2

FOR THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER

The Virgin Mary, evil spirits and the Sacrament of Confession

You came out of your large statue which lies right above the tabernacle in the church which bears your name, when I was unknowingly surrounded by some evil spirits that Saturday afternoon while awaiting my turn in line to go to confession. I was already nervous at being there despite the priest-confessor being very good and thorough, kind and gentle, as it was only the second time I was attending after not having been for a significant period of time. Sitting in the pew waiting, I was hoping against hope that the person before me would get their confession over and done with, so that I could get in and out as quickly as possible. I had purposely sat at the end of the pew so if I felt I could not make it, I would be able to leave easily – hopefully unnoticed and without disturbing other people.  Continue reading

Consecration of the world to the Divine Heart of God the Father

Text of "Our Father" prayer with Tri...

The consecration of the world – or rather the purification and re-consecration of the world – to the Divine Heart of God the Father will end the Great Chastisement, particularly the global persecution of Christians that is forthcoming. How many, though, are ready in their hearts, minds and souls for this to happen; the fulfillment of the Kingdom come? How many are ready to sheath their pride, arrogance and earthly wisdom, in order to bow down before and worship God the Omnipotent Father? How many are both ready and want to see this happen in their lifetime? The consecration will happen but it depends on us whether it happens sooner rather than later, with consequences for everyone – believer and non-believer alike.  Continue reading

The Era of the 8th Day – 18 – Consecration by the Father, to Him, in Spirit and in Truth

The second Pentecost

1. “And the glory which You have given Me, I give to them: that they may be one, as We also are One. I in them and You in Me: that they may be made perfect in one: and the world may know that You have sent Me and have loved them, as You have also loved Me” (Jn 17:22-24)

2. “The sufferings of this time are not worthy to be compared with the glory to come that shall be revealed in us . . . Because the creature also itself shall be delivered from the servitude of corruption, into the liberty of the glory of the children of God” (Rom 8:18-21)

When we allow God the Father to consecrate ourselves to Himself, in His Spirit and His Truth, after the heart of our souls have been re-opened but especially after the forthcoming global Illumination Continue reading

The signs of the times – 16 – Where we are and what is coming

“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams and your young men shall see visions. Even upon the servants in those days, I will pour out My Spirit.”  Continue reading

Appropriateness of Devotion to God the Father

Devotion to God our Almighty Father: Appropriateness and doctrinal value

“In John’s Gospel, Jesus, in His conversation with the Samaritan woman, announces a new devotion: ‘The hour is coming and now is, when the true adorers shall adore the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father also seeks such to adore him’” (Jn 4:23; Galot, 1999).

“Devotion to the Father began with Jesus. How can it not be ours too? . . . For how many Christians is the Father, today, a living person? . . . [Meanwhile] preachers and spiritual directors who have spread it, have pointed out with joy the profound effects of purification and sanctification which it brings forth in souls. It seems as though there is a special grace attached to it. Why? Continue reading

Cantalamessa the Papal Preacher on feast day for God the Father

“It’s sad that in the whole liturgical year there isn’t a feast dedicated to the Father, that in the whole Missal there isn’t even a votive Mass in His honor. Come to think of it, it’s very strange; there Continue reading

Worshiping the Father in Spirit and in Truth – 3 – Acquiring true love for God the Father

Why we need, both individually and as a people, the Purification and Illumination that are coming

We cannot acquire true love for God the Father and worship Him in Spirit and in Truth, as He so profoundly and longstandingly desires us to do, unless the heart of our souls (the nous) has first been purified and illuminated. This because it is precisely the heart of the soul that “is Continue reading

Meaning of the Illumination of Conscience – Illumination and sin

The illumination of one’s soul, better known as the illumination of conscience, is in essence and fact the healing of the soul that is ill, for it entails reopening the heart of the soul, the nous, to God the Father and His Truth, Jesus Christ; hence, to Knowledge – true (interior, experiential) knowledge – of God, after it has been closed and repeatedly Continue reading

At the brink of the Era of the 8th Day – Worshipping the Father in Spirit and in Truth

The Father, the Son and mankind: Ut unum sint

It is God the Almighty Father who draws us toward His Son, Jesus Christ. For if He did not draw us, through His grace, we would never be able to approach. Yet, reciprocally, it is only through Christ that we can return to Our Father. Because, without Him, we would  Continue reading

God the Father: Infinite Love

Love – Infinite Love – is Our Father’s Name. Yet we do not want Him, we do not desire Him, and for the most part we do everything that we can in order to ignore Him and consign Him to the mold-gathering books of history. In and through our enactment of such process, hoping beyond our wildest dreams to obliterate Him from our lives and the life of the Continue reading

Returning to God the Father – 3 – Thought for the day

Only in returning with our whole hearts, minds, and souls to God the Father will we experience peace, love, joy, and happiness. For without our Father nothing and no one can live, given that He Is the Alpha and Omega of the universe. We need urgently to return, begging His Mercy on our knees, for the longer we take to return – the more obstinate, willful, Continue reading

Worshipping Our Father

“Our Father Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name, Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the Evil One. Deliver us from the person of Satan. Amen.”
