The Icon of the Divine Heart of God the Father – 2

The icon of the Divine Heart of God the Father is being given to mankind as an “intentionally ecumenical icon” (Message of 9/15/11, unpublished) that emphasizes the need for re-unification between the Catholic and Orthodox Churches. The diptych icon is “a response” (ibid.) to Jesus Christ’s prayer to Our Father – prior to His Passion, death, and resurrection – that, “May they all be One just as, Father, You are in Me and I am in You, so that they also may be in us; so that the world may believe it was You who sent Me” (Jn 17:21).
