How Our Father works – 7 – “As it was in the Beginning, so shall it be at the End”

“Yahweh said to Moses, ‘Arise early in the morning and confront Pharaoh; say to Him, “So said Yahweh, God of the Hebrews: Send out My people that they may serve and worship Me. For this time I shall inflict all My plagues on you, upon your servants, and your people, so that you shall know that there in none like Me in all the world. Had I stretched out My hand and stricken you and your people with the pestilence, you would have been obliterated from the earth. But I have let you endure to show you My strength, and so that My Name may be declared throughout the world.”

“You will tread upon My people, not to send them out. Behold, at this time tomorrow I shall rain a very heavy hail, such as there has never been in Egypt, from the day it was founded until now. Gather in your livestock and everything you have in the field; all the people and animals that are found in the field that are not gathered into the house, the hail shall fall upon them and they shall die.” Those servants of Pharaoh who feared the word of Yahweh chased their servants and livestock to the houses. But those who did not take to heart the word of Yahweh, left their servants and livestock in the field.”

“Yahweh then said to Moses, ‘Stretch out your hand toward heaven and there will be hail in the entire land of Egypt, on man and beast, and on all the grass of the field.’ Moses stretched out his staff toward heaven and Yahweh sent thunder and hail, and fire went eastward, and Yahweh rained hail upon the land of Egypt. There was hail and fire flaming amidst the hail – very heavy, such as had never been in the entire land of Egypt, from the time it became a nation. The hail struck the entire land of Egypt, everything that was in the field from man to beast; all the grass of the field the hail struck and every tree of the field it smashed. Only in the land of Goshen, where the Children of Israel were, there was no hail” (Ex 9:13-26).
