Love should fill the hearts of His people, yet love is dead because His Spirit is absent. How can you love, therefore, or speak openly about love, if you do not have God within you Who is Love? More specifically, how can you love – truly love, with the entirety of your heart, mind, soul and strength (Dt 6:5; Mt 22:37; Mk 12:30; Lk 10:27) – if you do not want God; you do not want Love Himself? Paul did not come to this nation, against his will, in order to remain silent. Neither will this voice in the wilderness, therefore, remain silent.
Note: Written in the Upper Room, on the vigil of Pentecost.
