The question was asked, “What was the first word said by Adam?” The answer is, Adam’s first words after having been created from the dirt of the ground were: “I love You, my Father.”
The question was asked, “What were the first words that Adam said to God?” The answer is beautiful and telling in its simplicity. After having been created from the clay, the mud, of the ground, the first man, Adam, being at that point full of grace, looked at God and told Him, “I love You, my Father.”
The question was asked, “Is Adam God the Father?” The answer is no. God the Father is the Almighty Creator of the universe, divine in nature, timeless and ageless, whereas Adam is the first human being ever created by the Father, through His Son, the Word, in the Holy Spirit. Adam is the first parent of mankind, human in nature. He lived and died like all the rest of us and is now considered a saint in Heaven despite his fall.
These were the first words Adam said to God our Father after he realized who had created him: “I love You, my God, my Father, the Author of my life” (Iannuzzi, 2013, The Gift of Living in the Divine Will in the Writings of Luisa Piccarreta).
