The Almighty Father is pure and perfect; immaculate in His holiness – a purity and a holiness that amaze even the angels themselves. Yet in this day and age, many – if not most – have allowed themselves to become impure under a variety of rationalizations and this in more ways than one. How, therefore, do you expect to meet the Father and live with Him for eternity if you do not genuinely renounce and remove impurity from your lives?
There is always hope for everyone, despite the blackness, the pervasiveness and the persistence of some of our sins. Always, there is hope; always! Because Mercy and Love are among His most prominent names.
Return to live with genuineness in our Father’s Heart! Return to that most tender and loving of hearts – the tenderness and love of which you cannot even begin to conceive. Return to live in His Divine Heart as you once resided and both the sorrow of your heart and your ceaseless tears will be relieved. Return with sincerity to Him Who had been your first love (Rv 2:4). Do not let the circumstances of either your youth or of today cloud the judgment you once had.
Do not let the pain of the past and of the present ruin your future – in particular, your eternal future. Pray for grace and it shall indeed be granted to you in abundance, because our Father never stopped loving you with the infinity of His Divine Heart.
Thank You, most beautiful and infinitely loving Almighty Father, for all the graces You have given us out of the sheer goodness of Your Divine Heart. We love You, we adore You, and we worship You.
For the wages of sin is death, but the grace of God, life everlasting, in Christ Jesus our Lord (Rom 6:23).
Pray for peace. Turn away from sin and pray with all your hearts for peace to the God who is Himself Peace, so that the Kingdom will descend into the hearts of mankind and the promised era of peace (Rv 20:1-3) is granted sooner, rather than later, to the whole world.
The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Ph 4:7), is gratuitously granted to all men of good will. Ask for it, therefore. Do not hesitate to ask for it with genuineness of heart, and the Almighty Father will grant it to you in the heart of your soul.
Everyone is seeking peace, particularly in these our increasingly chaotic times, but many, if not most, are seeking peace in the wrong direction. Seek and find peace in your heart first, that imperturbable peace which only God gives in and through the very heart of your soul, and everything else around you will fall naturally into place.
Ask Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of the Living God, to grant you peace. You may search repeatedly for peace in all the things of the world, in and through all the false gods, idols, and yes; even non-apostolic religions. However, none of these can give you true peace as they do not have it; it is not theirs to give. Only Christ can give you genuine peace, because He is the Prince of Peace in Himself. Everything else is false coin -a man-made sham.
“‘The Lord God waits, He does not condemn us and cries. Because He loves us!’ He behaves ‘like a mother hen with little chickens;’ this is our victory” – Pope Francis, Homily at Casa Santa Marta, October 29, 2015. Read more here.
And everyone who has left houses, brothers, sisters, father, mother, children or land for the sake of My Name will be repaid a hundred times over, and also inherit eternal life (Mt 19:29).
Give Him everything. It is time. Give Him everything without the slightest hesitation: everything you are and everything you are not; everything you have and everything you have not, down to the slightest thing. The Almighty and incomparable Father will supply and repay you like none other. He will repay you with a joy beyond description and He will give you His very own Self.
Yes, the Father will give you Himself and everything that is His in the entire universe, including His only-begotten Son in like (but not identical) manner to how He had given Him to the Virgin Mary – the coming of the Kingdom. Give yourself to the Heavenly Father, therefore, no matter who you are; no matter where you are. Give yourself to Him without fear, from the bottom of your heart. You can never lose, you can only gain.
God our Father is all-knowing and all-powerful; omnipotent, the Almighty. Yet, in His Divine Heart, He is the Father of simplicity. He wants only one thing and one thing alone – your love. Will you love Him? Will you say ‘yes’ to Him?
A brief response to many writings, encounters, and questions about what is of God and what is not of God:
There is no need to worry; but if there is anything you need, pray for it, asking God for it with prayer and thanksgiving, and that peace of God which is so much greater than we can understand, will guard your hearts and your thoughts, in Christ Jesus (Phil 4:6-7).
Some in the Church, especially those who seem to adhere to a more traditionalist orientation, are presently attempting to instil fear in the people of God, knowingly or unknowingly, because of the current situation both in our world and in the Church Universal. Know that such an approach, albeit possibly correct in its technicalities, is never of God, because although the letter of the Law may be followed and propagated, it lacks the Spirit of the Law – love. And God is Love, God is Order, God is Peace.
God – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit – brings peace with Him wherever He goes, wherever He is invited, wherever He resides. Never does He bring fear or restlessness; never. Fear is a thief, a killer, and a murderer of peace; and we all know who the thief and murderer is from the beginning (Jn 8:44). Do not, therefore, let anyone – no matter who they may be – steal your peace, your hope, your trust, and your love from you; all given to you by God to enjoy. Fear, restlessness, and doomsday scenarios without hope are never of God, because God is Justice but He is also Love. And His love, wisdom, compassion, and mercy are infinite, even when we think or feel otherwise. Remember, God loves and love casts out fear.
We ourselves have known and put our faith in God’s love towards ourselves. God is love and anyone who lives in love lives in God, and God lives in him. Love will come to its perfection in us when we can face the day of Judgement without fear, because even in this world we have become as He is. In love there can be no fear, but fear is driven out by perfect love: because to fear is to expect punishment, and anyone who is afraid is still imperfect in love (1 Jn 4:16-18).
“I lift my eyes to the mountains: where is help to come from? Help comes to me from Yahweh who made heaven and earth. No letting our footsteps slip! This guard of yours, He does not doze! The guardian of Israel does not doze or sleep. Yahweh guards you, shades you. With Yahweh at your right hand, sun cannot strike you down by day, nor moon at night. Yahweh guards you from harm, he guards your lives; he guards you leaving, coming back, now and for always” (Ps 121:1-8).
These days we tend to think of the birth of Christ, how He divested Himself from everything to come and be one with us, to restore us to life with God. But the Almighty Father sacrificed too. He stayed without His most beloved Son in the unimaginable closest of proximities for our sake, something which had never previously occurred, although He continued living in Him together with Their Spirit.
The question was asked, “What does ‘the divine inheritance’ mean?” The response is simple, though by no means brief if answered in depth. The divine inheritance means we are called to literally inherit everything God the Father has, with Himself as Perfect Love above all else. And you have no idea what that is like, what perfect bliss and joy it entails, until you have tasted it. (more…)
“We are all called to be children of the one Father and brothers among ourselves . . . God is reality with a capital ‘R’ . . . a Father of goodness and infinite mercy” (Pope Francis, Letter to Eugenio Scalfari, 2013).
He begs and He waits. Then He begs and begs again. Yet we do not listen, for we prefer not to change. The humility of our Father is such that He keeps on begging us to show Him a scrap of love – yes, He literally begs us, creatures of His own handiwork. Yet for many, they choose to keep on saying “no.” How we wound His tender Heart; incomparable, intense love at its very core! Yet He keeps on begging us and waiting as the infinitely humble Father that He is.
How humble is God our Father, coming Himself to beg His children on earth to return to Him; to return to live in His loving bosom – His Divine Will. How infinitely beautiful is His humility, as is His love. And He never imposes; He asks. Yet we do not consider this extreme humility of the Father, incomparable in nature given who He is, as we remain intent on focusing on ourselves. (more…)
How beautiful and incomparable is the Kingdom of Pure Love! Oh, if everyone knew what it was like! Yet many of us still do not know that it is very real and others do not want to know. What we are missing out on, as a human family! If only we opened our hearts, just a little. Yet grace is required to do so and many do not want grace, even though it is free for the asking. That is the situation (more…)
The question was asked, “What is God the Father like?” Several names and adjectives can be used to describe how our Father is. In fact, many descriptions of the Heavenly Father exist in Scripture and the writings of various saints and scholars. But none of them suffice to describe Him in His entirety as, being God, He is infinite and ultimately unknowable in His essence; His nature. What follows, (more…)
Love should fill the hearts of His people, yet love is dead because His Spirit is absent. How can you love, therefore, or speak openly about love, if you do not have God within you Who is Love? More specifically, how can you love – truly love, with the entirety of your heart, mind, soul and strength (Dt 6:5; Mt 22:37; Mk 12:30; Lk 10:27) – if you do not want God; you do not want Love Himself? (more…)
Fidelity in Christ is the key which opens the door to our Almighty Father’s Heart, as He is unable to resist the pleas and supplications of those who remain faithful to Him, especially when under duress. Love Him, therefore, above all else. Put His Will before yours and ask Him for the grace of perseverance to retain your spiritual integrity. He will give you this grace without fail, as it (more…)
If you only knew how loving and powerful our Almighty Father is! Nothing is impossible for Him. If you knew, truly knew, how our Father really is, you would not stay away a moment longer. You would approach Him with great rapidity and ask Him, without fear or hesitation, to take you back into His arms and plunge You deeply into His Divine Heart. But many of you, so many of you, remain (more…)
FOR HIS GLORY
The Father on the Doorstep
You came once again that Thursday morning at around 6.15 am. I had recently woken up and was preparing to go to early morning Mass, when suddenly the dining room became all lit up. It was as though multiple, strong spotlights had been placed all throughout the room and simultaneously lit up. In two years of living in the house, I had never seen anything like that. In fact, the light in the dining room was unnatural, because normally the room would have remained dark at that time of morning given its particular location.
As I stood silently looking around the room attempting to figure out what was happening, the light grew increasingly stronger and intense. It appeared to (more…)
FOR HIS GLORY
The Father who is Infinite Love
About two weeks after You gave me the illumination of conscience, You – God the Father – desired to show me with precision just how much of a tender, loving Father You are despite Your omnipotence. You chose to do this because You knew the extent to which I had been afraid of You my whole life and still was to some degree – as so many people are – despite my consecration to You. After all, throughout the Old Testament, despite what was described as my uncanny attraction to it since childhood, You were repeatedly portrayed as annihilating all and sundry in various ways because they betrayed Your trust in them. You did not exactly come across as a loving God. (more…)
