Below is what the world really needs in our times, but Whom it keeps rejecting out of false wisdom. The Heavenly Father has promised to come and live with us and in us, restoring order in the world and granting it a period of true peace – His peace – when the world is re-consecrated to Him, to His Divine Heart. The infinitely beautiful, loving Father has been pleading for this, for years, now. And yet, so far His pleas, His cries of a Father, have fallen on deaf ears.
Will you please not be so hard-hearted and oblige your Father by returning to Him Who loves you? Sparing the world on your part from even more pain and suffering? What have you to lose by trying to find out Who your Eternal Father really Is? The diptych ecumenical icon of the Divine Heart of God the Father Encompassing All Hearts has just been featured in the newly released book Approaching the Divine – A Primer for Iconography by the world-renowned iconographer and Villanova University professor of art, Fr. Cannuli based upon the original pencil drawing of the Divine Heart. Approaching the Divine is available in hardback, paperback and ebook editions.
The question was asked, “How do I go about saying the prayer of consecration” to God the Father? The answer is very simple: just say the prayer with sincerity and genuineness in your heart. And if you do not feel genuine and/or sincere, ask our Father to give you the grace of being genuine and He will do so. Our Father has made it very easy for us to become fully His property, to belong to Him instead of to Satan, because He wants each and every one of us to Him Who made us with infinite love.
The question was asked, “When is the prayer of consecration to the Divine Heart of God the Father said?” The answer is at any time. Whenever you wish to say the prayer, do so. No rules and regulations are involved although some say it daily as, like that, you are offering your day to the Father.
Meanwhile, for those who believe in the Sacrament of Reconciliation (e.g., Catholics, Orthodox), it is wise to sometimes say the prayer after confession, since the consecration leads to receiving the seal of the Father (Rv 3:10-12).
We want to belong to Him – God our beautiful and humble Father – not to the other guy, that father of lies and murderer without compunction since the beginning of time. August is the month our Father desires for Himself, for His Divine Heart, as a symbol of His great, intense love. Let us, therefore, return to Him in the manner which He desires. Let us become formally consecrated to our patient Father so that we belong to Him.
With humility and love, we, the children of God, petition you, the Vicar of Christ, to approve a Feast for God our Father. We ask that this feast be entitled The Solemnity of the Divine Paternal Heart – The Feast of the Father of All Mankind, the eighth solemn day of the holy octave of consecration to God our Father. We ask that it be celebrated annually on the first Sunday of August. We believe that it is our privilege and responsibility to know, love, serve and honor God our Father through such a yearly Feast. We pray that Jesus our God and Savior, The Holy Spirit our God and Sanctifier, and Mary our Mother, guide you in approving this octave Feast so that all mankind may offer their fiat to God our Father, and so that “His Kingdom comes and His Will is done on Earth as it is in Heaven.” Continue reading “Petition for the Solemnity of the Divine Paternal Heart”
The Heart of the Father: Why the Paternal Heart of Life is the Answer to the Culture of Death by Thomas W. Petrisko (2013) of Saint Andrew’s Productions.
“”We raise our voices and pray that the Love which is in the Father,” Pope John Paul II writes in Dives in Misericordia, “may once again be revealed at this stage of history…that it may be shown to be present in our modern world to be more powerful than evil, more powerful than sin and death.”
“Now, in our time, our Heavenly Father shows us the means to see this great Love of His that is so merciful, so wanting to be discovered – it is through His Heart of Life, His Divine Paternal Heart! Continue reading “The Heart of the Father by Thomas W. Petrisko”
