The Desires of the Divine Heart

What is the Divine Will of God? Response to a question

The question was asked, “What is the Divine Will of God?” The brief answer is very simple: that we return to live habitually in the Divine Heart of God our Father.

More on the Divine Will of the Almighty Father can be found here.

Pray for the intentions of the Almighty Father

Do not pray solely for yourself and for others. Pray also for the intentions, the desires, of God the Almighty Father. It is what He wants at this time.

The Father of simplicity

God our Father is all-knowing and all-powerful; omnipotent, the Almighty. Yet, in His Divine Heart, He is the Father of simplicity. He wants only one thing and one thing alone – your love. Will you love Him? Will you say ‘yes’ to Him?

The simplicity of the Father

He just wants to be loved with genuineness from our hearts. No more, no less. That is all the Almighty Father has ever wanted.

The Heavenly Father and ourselves

“There comes a time in each person’s life when they have to become true worshippers of God the Father in Spirit and in truth. For indeed, these are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks to worship Him” (Fr. Francis E. Reilly, March 2014).

How hard is it to follow the Father?

How hard is it for humankind to follow the Father, as He so intensely desires – as He desired since the beginning of time? We only have to follow these with all their ramifications, with love in our hearts:

  1. You shall have no other gods but Me;
  2. Do not take My Name in vain;
  3. Keep holy the day of rest;
  4. Honor your parents;
  5. Do not kill;
  6. Do not commit adultery;
  7. Do not steal;
  8. Do not lie;
  9. Do not desire your neighbor’s wife/husband;
  10. Do not desire your neighbor’s goods.

Yet, we regularly fail in keeping at least some of these, because we keep on not allowing God Himself to come and live in our hearts.

We want to belong to Him

We want to belong to Him – God our beautiful and humble Father – not to the other guy, that father of lies and murderer without compunction since the beginning of time. August is the month our Father desires for Himself, for His Divine Heart, as a symbol of His great, intense love. Let us, therefore, return to Him in the manner which He desires. Let us become formally consecrated to our patient Father so that we belong to Him.

Petition for the Solemnity of the Divine Paternal Heart

Your Holiness:

With humility and love, we, the children of God, petition you, the Vicar of Christ, to approve a Feast for God our Father. We ask that this feast be entitled The Solemnity of the Divine Paternal Heart – The Feast of the Father of All Mankind, the eighth solemn day of the holy octave of consecration to God our Father. We ask that it be celebrated annually on the first Sunday of August. We believe that it is our privilege and responsibility to know, love, serve and honor God our Father through such a yearly Feast. We pray that Jesus our God and Savior, The Holy Spirit our God and Sanctifier, and Mary our Mother, guide you in approving this octave Feast so that all mankind may offer their fiat to God our Father, and so that “His Kingdom comes and His Will is done on Earth as it is in Heaven.”  (more…)

“”We raise our voices and pray that the Love which is in the Father,” Pope John Paul II writes in Dives in Misericordia, “may once again be revealed at this stage of history…that it may be shown to be present in our modern world to be more powerful than evil, more powerful than sin and death.”

“Now, in our time, our Heavenly Father shows us the means to see this great Love of His that is so merciful, so wanting to be discovered – it is through His Heart of Life, His Divine Paternal Heart(more…)

Renewed call for institution of the Solemnity of the Divine Paternal Heart

The public call was explicitly made for institution of the Solemnity of the Divine Paternal Heart of God the Father, in the liturgical calendar of the universal Church. This call was made by Thomas W. Petrisko, President of The Father of All Mankind Apostolate and former president of the Pittsburgh Center for Peace. In The Divine Paternal Heart of God Our Father, Petrisko (2012) said:

“The Father’s pain for His children now pierces His Paternal Heart. The Lord of Heaven and earth (more…)

The beauty of the divine life

It is immensely beautiful to participate by grace in the divine life of the Most Holy Trinity. What intense love! What joy and happiness! It is literally a slice of heaven on earth and who in their right mind does not want a piece of that? But the thing is, the offer to participate in the Divine Family life is not restricted to just a few persons. Our Father desires everyone to return to participate in His divine life. So much so that He is ready to shower His graces – unparalleled graces, even previously unseen graces – onto anyone who accepts His open offer. Why stay away, therefore, when you can all be filled with riches beyond belief; joy, happiness and love beyond belief?  (more…)
