The Heart of the Father by Thomas W. Petrisko

HeartoftheFatherCov-final__53107_stdThe Heart of the Father: Why the Paternal Heart of Life is the Answer to the Culture of Death by Thomas W. Petrisko (2013) of Saint Andrew’s Productions.

“”We raise our voices and pray that the Love which is in the Father,” Pope John Paul II writes in Dives in Misericordia, “may once again be revealed at this stage of history…that it may be shown to be present in our modern world to be more powerful than evil, more powerful than sin and death.”

“Now, in our time, our Heavenly Father shows us the means to see this great Love of His that is so merciful, so wanting to be discovered – it is through His Heart of Life, His Divine Paternal HeartContinue reading “The Heart of the Father by Thomas W. Petrisko”

How do we say the prayers of consecration to God the Father? – Response to a question

The question was posed, “How do we say the prayers of consecration to God the Father?” The answer is simple: just say the Consecration Prayer with genuine intent in your heart and mind. That is all. If you feel, for some reason, that you lack the latter, ask God with sincerity to grant you that particular grace. He will as He strongly desires all mankind to become re-consecrated to Him. Alternatively, Continue reading “How do we say the prayers of consecration to God the Father? – Response to a question”

To God our beautiful Father on Father’s Day 2013

DH2 GOOD

Pope Francis on God the Father – First Angelus address

“Non sentiamo parole di disprezzo, condanna ma soltanto parole di amore, di misericordia che invitano a conversione. Questo e’ il volto di Dio, quello di un Padre Misericordioso che ha sempre pazienza” (3/17/13, Angelus address).

Translation:

“We do not hear words of disrespect, condemnation but only words of love, of mercy which invite to conversion. This is the face of God, that of a Merciful Father who always has patience.”

What is the meaning of illumination of conscience? – Response to a question

Together with purification and deification, illumination is “the reception of an understanding of the Godhead” (Dionysus the Aeropagite, CH VII.3.209C).

The illumination of conscience is a grace of mercy given by God the Father and a process whereby one sees everything they did or did not do, said or did not say, throughout their life in the light of the truth who is Christ; and all those sins which were not absolved (not recalled by God anymore) through the sacrament of reconciliation.  Continue reading “What is the meaning of illumination of conscience? – Response to a question”

Thy Kingdom come

“Whoever prays for the coming of the kingdom of God within himself is praying rights, praying for the kingdom to dawn in him, bear fruit and reach perfection. For God reigns in every saint, and every saint obeys God’s spiritual laws – God, who dwells in him just as He dwells in any well-ordered city. The Father is present in him and in his soul Christ reigns alongside the Father, as it is said: ‘We Continue reading “Thy Kingdom come”

Purification – The ascent

Purification in the desert is an ascent, for all our untoward attachments are removed so the Holy Trinity – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – can come and live in us. If we are not thoroughly purified this way, how can we open ourselves up sufficiently for Them to come and live in us with power and might? Perfect light and life cannot dwell where darkness resides. This is why we are presently being Continue reading “Purification – The ascent”

Description of the Virgin Mary, the Mother of God – 2

FOR THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER

The Virgin Mary, evil spirits and the Sacrament of Confession

You came out of your large statue which lies right above the tabernacle in the church which bears your name, when I was unknowingly surrounded by some evil spirits that Saturday afternoon while awaiting my turn in line to go to confession. I was already nervous at being there despite the priest-confessor being very good and thorough, kind and gentle, as it was only the second time I was attending after not having been for a significant period of time. Sitting in the pew waiting, I was hoping against hope that the person before me would get their confession over and done with, so that I could get in and out as quickly as possible. I had purposely sat at the end of the pew so if I felt I could not make it, I would be able to leave easily – hopefully unnoticed and without disturbing other people.  Continue reading “Description of the Virgin Mary, the Mother of God – 2”

Consecration of the world to the Divine Heart of God the Father

Text of "Our Father" prayer with Tri...

The consecration of the world – or rather the purification and re-consecration of the world – to the Divine Heart of God the Father will end the Great Chastisement, particularly the global persecution of Christians that is forthcoming. How many, though, are ready in their hearts, minds and souls for this to happen; the fulfillment of the Kingdom come? How many are ready to sheath their pride, arrogance and earthly wisdom, in order to bow down before and worship God the Omnipotent Father? How many are both ready and want to see this happen in their lifetime? The consecration will happen but it depends on us whether it happens sooner rather than later, with consequences for everyone – believer and non-believer alike.  Continue reading “Consecration of the world to the Divine Heart of God the Father”

The Era of the 8th Day – 20 – The Unification of the Church after the Chastisement

The earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea (Hab 2:14)

“The angel came to speak to me and said, ‘Come here and I will show you the bride that the Lamb has married.’ In the Spirit, he took me to the top of an enormous high mountain and showed me Jerusalem, the holy city, coming down from God out of Heaven. It had all the radiant glory of God and glittered like some precious jewel of crystal-clear diamond. the walls of it were of a great Continue reading “The Era of the 8th Day – 20 – The Unification of the Church after the Chastisement”

The Era of the 8th Day – 18 – Consecration by the Father, to Him, in Spirit and in Truth

The second Pentecost

1. “And the glory which You have given Me, I give to them: that they may be one, as We also are One. I in them and You in Me: that they may be made perfect in one: and the world may know that You have sent Me and have loved them, as You have also loved Me” (Jn 17:22-24)

2. “The sufferings of this time are not worthy to be compared with the glory to come that shall be revealed in us . . . Because the creature also itself shall be delivered from the servitude of corruption, into the liberty of the glory of the children of God” (Rom 8:18-21)

When we allow God the Father to consecrate ourselves to Himself, in His Spirit and His Truth, after the heart of our souls have been re-opened but especially after the forthcoming global Illumination Continue reading “The Era of the 8th Day – 18 – Consecration by the Father, to Him, in Spirit and in Truth”
