The love and parental tenderness of the Almighty Father never fail, even in the most difficult of circumstances. Turn to Him with childlike simplicity, wholeness of heart and love when everything and everyone around you fail you. You will find Him steadfastly by your side to both heal the wounds inflicted upon you and open doors which would remain closed by all earthly standards. Love Continue reading “The love of the Father – Thought for the day”

Being a little child in the Father’s sight
God our Father loves souls who are little, for it is when we are as children in His regard that He can function as Father without restraint; letting His majesty, glory and greatness take precedence in our lives without hindrance from ourselves. Being and remaining little is not easy, though, since it goes against the grain of our socialization. Many of us were taught to be winners, not to be losers Continue reading “Being a little child in the Father’s sight”
To God the Father – A testimony to His infinite love
You picked me up from among the dead and plunged me deeply into Your Divine Heart. You did not delegate the job of finding and resuscitating me to anyone else, but descended from Your beautiful throne and heavenly abode to search for me Yourself. When You found me, You chased and enticed me. Then You chased and enticed me some more. Continue reading “To God the Father – A testimony to His infinite love”
All He wants is love
All He wants is to be loved. That is all God our Father ever wanted from us. Nothing else. Yet we continue encountering difficulty – for some, great difficulty – in doing this. Why? Why close our hearts to Love? Can there possibly be anything or anyone greater than Love Himself? Why are we cheating ourselves out of love? For that is, in essence and fact, what we are doing. Continue reading “All He wants is love”
How do we draw upon the Father’s strength? – Response to a question
The question was posed, “How do we draw upon the Father’s strength?” The answer is simple: invite Him with genuineness to be your Father and open your hearts unconditionally to Him. If you cannot presently do the latter, for some reason or another, ask God the Father for all the graces necessary to become able to do so and the Father will give them to you with great joy. Turn your lives over to Continue reading “How do we draw upon the Father’s strength? – Response to a question”
Why is God described as Father to the fatherless? – Response to a question
The question was asked: “Why is God described as Father to the fatherless?” (Ps 68:6). The brief response is because at the core of His Divine Heart, He was, is and will remain, supremely, a Father. God the Father did not create us to live separately from Him. That is why He sent His only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem us, so we would once again become sons and daughters of Continue reading “Why is God described as Father to the fatherless? – Response to a question”
Description of the Virgin Mary, the Mother of God – 3
FOR THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER
You stood at the right archway of my dining room late that weekday evening, once again without your crown; wearing your white, floor-length mantle with its blue ribbon traveling inside its borders. This time you came as the joyful Mother at work. Singing an incredibly beautiful albeit unknown song with boundless joy, happiness and love on your petite face, your luxuriously melodious and tonal singing made me feel as though liquid love was suddenly being drained all over me. It was as though Heaven itself was being poured out. No earthly voice or song can, in fact, compare to yours, as your infinitely sweet song was the song of joy of the Holy Trinity mediated through your deified body. The Virgin Mary, evil spirits and the Sacrament of Confession
You came out of your large statue which lies right above the tabernacle in the church which bears your name, when I was unknowingly surrounded by some evil spirits that Saturday afternoon while awaiting my turn in line to go to confession. I was already nervous at being there despite the priest-confessor being very good and thorough, kind and gentle, as it was only the second time I was attending after not having been for a significant period of time. Sitting in the pew waiting, I was hoping against hope that the person before me would get their confession over and done with, so that I could get in and out as quickly as possible. I had purposely sat at the end of the pew so if I felt I could not make it, I would be able to leave easily – hopefully unnoticed and without disturbing other people.
