Phinehas and consecration to the Father in 21st century – 1

THE HERESY OF PE’OR

I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness, I saw your fathers as the first-ripe in the fig-tree at her first season. But as soon as they came to Ba’al-Pe’or, they separated themselves unto the shameful thing and became detestable like that which they loved  (Hos 9:10).

Phinehas was the grandson of Aaron, the brother of Moses (Ex 6:25). He distinguished himself by risking his life to end the heresy of Pe’or and make reparation to HaShem for it, after the people of Israel had bought into the heresy lock, stock and barrel. Phinehas won from the Father cessation of the annihilation of the Israelites as a punishment (Nb 25:11-13). He also won a covenant of peace for the people and a covenant of everlasting priesthood for himself and his descendants.  Continue reading “Phinehas and consecration to the Father in 21st century – 1”

When is the Consecration Prayer to the Father said?

The question was asked, “When is the prayer of consecration to the Divine Heart of God the Father said?” The answer is at any time. Whenever you wish to say the prayer, do so. No rules and regulations are involved although some say it daily as, like that, you are offering your day to the Father.

Meanwhile, for those who believe in the Sacrament of Reconciliation (e.g., Catholics, Orthodox), it is wise to sometimes say the prayer after confession, since the consecration leads to receiving the seal of the Father (Rv 3:10-12).

What does it mean to be a child of God?

To be a child of God means to be an adoptive member of the Divine Family.

When we become children of the living God by taking steps to rediscover our true heritage and giving the Almighty Father our fiat with sincerity of heart, in essence and in fact, we become adoptive members of the Divine Family. The Family – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and, yes, even the Mother* – take us in. They take us into Their Hearts and envelop us in Their bosom, showering us with all we need to become gods by grace (2 P 1:4; Ps 82:6).  Continue reading “What does it mean to be a child of God?”

We want to belong to Him

We want to belong to Him – God our beautiful and humble Father – not to the other guy, that father of lies and murderer without compunction since the beginning of time. August is the month our Father desires for Himself, for His Divine Heart, as a symbol of His great, intense love. Let us, therefore, return to Him in the manner which He desires. Let us become formally consecrated to our patient Father so that we belong to Him.

Petition for the Solemnity of the Divine Paternal Heart

Your Holiness:

With humility and love, we, the children of God, petition you, the Vicar of Christ, to approve a Feast for God our Father. We ask that this feast be entitled The Solemnity of the Divine Paternal Heart – The Feast of the Father of All Mankind, the eighth solemn day of the holy octave of consecration to God our Father. We ask that it be celebrated annually on the first Sunday of August. We believe that it is our privilege and responsibility to know, love, serve and honor God our Father through such a yearly Feast. We pray that Jesus our God and Savior, The Holy Spirit our God and Sanctifier, and Mary our Mother, guide you in approving this octave Feast so that all mankind may offer their fiat to God our Father, and so that “His Kingdom comes and His Will is done on Earth as it is in Heaven.”  Continue reading “Petition for the Solemnity of the Divine Paternal Heart”

“”We raise our voices and pray that the Love which is in the Father,” Pope John Paul II writes in Dives in Misericordia, “may once again be revealed at this stage of history…that it may be shown to be present in our modern world to be more powerful than evil, more powerful than sin and death.”

“Now, in our time, our Heavenly Father shows us the means to see this great Love of His that is so merciful, so wanting to be discovered – it is through His Heart of Life, His Divine Paternal HeartContinue reading “The Heart of the Father by Thomas W. Petrisko”

How do we say the prayers of consecration to God the Father? – Response to a question

The question was posed, “How do we say the prayers of consecration to God the Father?” The answer is simple: just say the Consecration Prayer with genuine intent in your heart and mind. That is all. If you feel, for some reason, that you lack the latter, ask God with sincerity to grant you that particular grace. He will as He strongly desires all mankind to become re-consecrated to Him. Alternatively, Continue reading “How do we say the prayers of consecration to God the Father? – Response to a question”
