We want to belong to Him – God our beautiful and humble Father – not to the other guy, that father of lies and murderer without compunction since the beginning of time. August is the month our Father desires for Himself, for His Divine Heart, as a symbol of His great, intense love. Let us, therefore, return to Him in the manner which He desires. Let us become formally consecrated to our patient Father so that we belong to Him.

The gift of God – The Blessed Virgin Mary
To the left is the newly-written icon of the gratuitous gift of the Holy Trinity to mankind: the Blessed Virgin Mary as Our Lady the Protectress; deified Mother of Jesus Christ, Queen of heaven and earth. This is a revealed icon which reflects the beauty and most common facial expression of Our Lady as seen in 2010 through 2012.
The icon was completed by Fr Richard G. Cannuli, O.S.A., based on the original icon painting done by the author. It was blessed at the altar with a regular icon blessing during the morning liturgy at the chapel of Clare Priory, Suffolk, on the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, 2013.

What is sin? – Response to a question
The question was asked, “What is sin?” The short answer is simple, though complicated for and by some due to their emphases on rationalization and subjectivity. Sin is anything that violates the commandments of love: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind. And you shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Mk 12:31; Lk 10:27).

FOR HIS GLORY
The Father who is Infinite Love
About two weeks after You gave me the illumination of conscience, You – God the Father – desired to show me with precision just how much of a tender, loving Father You are despite Your omnipotence. You chose to do this because You knew the extent to which I had been afraid of You my whole life and still was to some degree – as so many people are – despite my consecration to You. After all, throughout the Old Testament, despite what was described as my uncanny attraction to it since childhood, You were repeatedly portrayed as annihilating all and sundry in various ways because they betrayed Your trust in them. You did not exactly come across as a loving God. Continue reading “Description of God the Father – 3”

FOR HIS GLORY
The Father on His Throne
You lifted me up to Yourself that weekday night a few days after I had completed the octave of purification and consecration to You. With infinite love and indulgence, You – God the Almighty Father – decided to show me what happens in the heavenly realm when a soul becomes consecrated to You. Hence that night, without prior warning, I found myself taken up into Your throne room: there I suddenly was, kneeling just a few feet away from You on both knees, as You sat regally on Your raised throne cloaked fully in Your Divine Light. The whole area which surrounded Your throne was similarly covered in several overlapping clouds of Your Light. Continue reading “Description of God the Father – 2”
The balm of the Father’s Heart
Infinite love defines the Divine Heart of our Father because He is the fullness of love – love so limpid, pure, soothing and sweet, it acts as sorely needed balm for our abused souls. Many of us injured our souls without hesitation, repeatedly sinning and being indifferent toward what we do, as long as we satisfy ourselves; our egos. We became superlative at attending to every aspect of our exterior Continue reading “The balm of the Father’s Heart”
The signs of the times – 29
“Let God arise, let His foes be scattered. Let those who hate Him flee before Him. As smoke is blown away, so will they be blown away; like wax that melts before the fire, so the wicked shall perish at the presence of God. But the just shall rejoice at the presence of God, they shall exult and dance for joy. O sing to Yahweh, play music to His name, make a highway for Him who rides on the clouds. Rejoice Continue reading “The signs of the times – 29”
